Pork Information Gateway (PIG): Get expert answers to everyday challenges in pork production.

PIG’s virtual library of resources gives pork producers an opportunity to find information in 16 categories related to swine or pork. PIG provides peer-reviewed information from leading swine researchers written in an easy-to-understand, producer-friendly style.
When you log onto http://www.PorkInfoGateway.org, you can register for a free account. Registration entitles you to search the PIG Question & Answer database and view thousands of pieces of pork production information.
PIG is part of the U.S. Pork Center of Excellence, which is based at Iowa State University. The Center is designed to advance:
• U.S. pork production as the world-class standard
• A new paradigm for how research is conducted and information delivered
• Society’s understanding and valuing of U.S. pork producers’ contributions to the
economy, environment, community, and to consumer health and well-being
