SDPPC Committees

The Executive Board and/or Members establish committees. Members are encouraged to sign up for committee membership at the Annual Meeting. The Executive Committee makes the final selection of members for each committee.  

Committee Appointments

South Dakota Pork Producers Council committees are selected by the Executive Committee and the committee chairs are appointed by the President and approved by the Executive Board.

There are currently nine committees of the South Dakota Pork Producers Council. All members of the SDPPC have an opportunity to serve on a state committee and may simply notify the president or state office of their interest in serving.

Each committee of the Council establishes a program of work and can request funds from the Executive Board to carry out that program. The committee chairs and staff report to the Executive Board on a regular basis.
